Learn While You Contribute
HarbourKeepers Fish Surveys not only allow the community to play a hands on role in looking after our Harbour, they also enable divers and the wider community to learn more about our marine life in NSW.

Divers get training through a workshop run by NPA~Marine and by completing a PADI certified training course. At the end of this you'll obtain an AWARE - Fish Identification Speciality certification and be able to participate in any HarbourKeepers or CoastKeepers Fish Survey.

For more information on this training course please click here.

Community members can learn more about NSW's marine life by visiting our online Fish Gallery. This has loads of information on different species living in NSW waters, where they are found and what they look like.

Environmental Managers and Scientists are provided with a workforce to collect meaningful data to help them better understand and therefore safeguard our oceans.

This project has been assisted by the New South Wales Government through its Environmental Trust
